• IJHS hours & percentages (2021-22 academic year): 40-minute periods. Total School Day is 430 minutes = 7.17 hours per day.

• Check category (itinerant, supplemental, etc.).

EXAMPLE:

• Student is pulled out of regular ed classroom one 40-minute period every OTHER day.

• One half of 40 minutes (every other day) = 20 minutes out of regular ed room.

• 430 minus 20 = 410 minutes/day in reg. ed environment.

• Divide 410 divided by 60 (minutes) = 6.83 hours in reg. ed classroom.

• Divide: 6.83/7.17 = 95.3% of the day in regular ed classroom.
