- Welcome everyone, introduce each other, and give a very brief overview of meeting.
- Get signatures of everyone present at meeting on signature page. (NOTE: If parent or student is not present, document this on the signature page.)
- Get parent/guardian signature on Procedural Safeguards page.
- Get parent/guardian signature on Medical Billing release form.
- If needed, also get parent/guardian signature on ER, RR, and/or NOREP.
- Work through IEP. Do NOT get bogged down reading every word of document.
- Take time to LISTEN.
- Keep things moving along (highlight main points & SDIs).
